Term Dates
For the 2026/2027 academic year, planned tuition periods are:
Autumn Term
- Tuesday 1 September 2026 to Friday 23 October 2026
- Monday 2 November 2026 to Friday 18 December 2026
Spring Term
- Monday 4 January 2027 to Friday 12 February 2027
- Monday 22 February 2027 to Thursday 25 March 2027
Summer Term
- Monday 12 April 2027 to Friday 28 May 2027
- Monday 7 June 2027 to Wednesday 21 July 2027
No regular tuition lessons are scheduled during the following school-holiday periods:
- 26 October 2026 to 30 October 2026 — Autumn half-term
- 21 December 2026 to 1 January 2027 — Christmas holiday
- 15 February 2027 to 19 February 2027 — Spring half-term
- 26 March 2027 to 9 April 2027 — Spring holiday
- 31 May 2027 to 4 June 2027 — Summer half-term
- From 22 July 2027 — Summer holiday
The Excelling in English Tuition Calendar applies to the Student's subscription regardless of minor variations to the term dates of the Student's individual school.
Where an individual school has an INSET day, school closure or different holiday date, this does not automatically cancel or postpone an Excelling in English lesson.
We will publish the applicable tuition calendar before the beginning of each academic year and may make reasonable amendments where necessary.
No tuition fee will be charged for lessons that are not scheduled during our published school-holiday periods.
